Mangalore, November 28: Hundreds of Muslims took part in the Sunni meet organized at Marhoom Kota Ustad Nagar in Addyar Kannor here, on Sunday.
The event was a part of the publicity campaign for the upcoming 85th Samastha Annual Conference to be held in the last week of February, next year, at Malappuram district in the state of Kerala.
Inaugurating the programme, PKP Abdussalam Musliyar, office-bearer of Samasta Education Board, said that the lack of moral values is the root cause for all the confusions and chaos in all the various fields of life in the modern India. Samasta aims to create public awareness in this regard, he said.
Sayed NPM Zainul Abideen Thangal presided over the valedictory programme of the half-day event.
